This project aims to engage young migrants in managing a more sustainable lifestyle, increase awareness toward a sustainable and ecological living urban environment and raise the discussion on climate changes.
In this webinar, we would like to inspire you to grow and use herbs and edible flowers in your everyday living. We will provide you with knowledge about their characteristics and needs.
Luís Monteiro is a landscape architect based in Prague, with experience in nature conservation and nature-based tourism development in protected areas at academia, NGO, and industry. Besides designing and implementing ornamental and vegetable gardens, Luís is all-year-round no-dig vegetable grower, with a great interest in ecology and regenerative garden and agriculture techniques. Lastly, he believes gardening can cultivate a meaningful and fun learning experience for everyone, and with this, in mind, he’s introducing children to gardening to increase their awareness of where food comes from and the importance of the environment in everyday life.
