Artistic Nomads
01.01.2021
31.03.2022
Community building and networking for third country nationals through the use of arts and culture. Project focuses on photography, traditional and improvisational dance, creative writing, theatre and cultural trips.
Within our project "Artistic Nomads" we aim on encouraging integration processes of foreigners, as we do share the belief that it is of great value to the hosting society. We all share the belief that arts can be extremely successful in opening the topics of solidarity in the community in a wide scale of aspects, such as solidarity to the newcomers and embracing diversity, solidarity among the foreigners to each other, showcasing the value of migrants in the society by promoting their talents and expertise in their field of interest.
The advantages are that, for example, within the framework of our project "Artistic Nomads" we encourage the integration of foreigners, because it is of great importance for the Czech society. And art can also be extremely successful in revealing the themes of solidarity in society in a wide range of aspects, such as solidarity with newcomers and embracing diversity, solidarity of foreigners with each other, demonstrating the value of migrants in society by promoting their talents and experience in the field of their interests.

Why are we doing this?
We are also young migrants of different origins and consider ourselves obliged to participate in civic activism The Czech Republic, which has become our new home. It is important for us to contribute to the development of the community with the help of our skills, knowledge and motivation to convince the general public that we are ready to contribute to development and growth societies. We are confident that our actions and this project will help other young foreigners to integrate in Prague and motivate them to support others, as happened to us when we first started participating in the activities of the Solidarity Corps.
