Reveal when hate speech begins and when freedom of speech ends

Hate Trackers – Into Action is a two-year international youth project (2024–2026) coordinated by Hellenic Youth Participation (Greece) in partnership with:

 

  • - C.I.F.A. (Italy)

  • - Hope For Children (Cyprus)

  • - Rinova (Spain)

  • - Cromo Foundation (Hungary)

  • - Active Youth Participation (Lithuania)

  • - Youth Included (Czech Republic)

 

Location: International (including mobility opportunities)
Focus: Human rights, digital literacy, countering hate speech, youth activism

 

 

The program empowers young people to:

  • Recognize and counter hate speech

  • Understand the boundaries of freedom of expression

  • Address disinformation and its effect on democracy

  • Create youth-led awareness campaigns

  • Promote equality, inclusion, and civic engagement

 

Activities include workshops, online training, local initiatives, and international exchanges.


 

Lecturers & Trainers

Participants will work with experienced trainers, youth workers, digital rights experts, and human rights defenders from across Europe.

Sessions will cover:

  • Media literacy and online safety

  • Monitoring and reporting hate speech

  • Campaign development and storytelling

  • Tools for non-formal education and social impact

Expertise is provided by professionals from the seven partner organizations, with backgrounds in youth engagement, advocacy, education, and digital activism.


 

This program is open to:

 

  • - Young people (aged approx. 16–30) interested in activism, digital rights, or equality

  • - Youth workers and educators seeking new methods to address hate speech

  • - Students, volunteers, and community organizers passionate about human rights

  • - Individuals looking to collaborate internationally and create real change

 

No previous experience is required — just motivation, openness, and commitment.
