Increasing quality and innovation of youth work in promoting young men health and wellbeing

Ивенты проекта

The Time4Health project aims to address gender imbalances in health, as men’s life expectancy in the EU remains significantly lower than women’s, and to equip youth workers with tools to promote health and wellbeing among young men. The activities of the project focus on strengthening youth workers’ ability to support young men in their physical, mental, and social health using modern digital pedagogies.

In particular, the Time4Health project strives to:

  • enforce youth workers’ competences to provide digitally transformed non-formal training focused on young men’s health.
  • develop tools to assess and validate youth workers’ competencies in providing health education.
  • equip youth workers with digital methods for innovative digitally transformed non-formal training of young men on health and wellbeing.
  • support youth workers-facilitators to train youth workers on developing their competences.

During its 24-month lifetime, TIME4HEALTH will directly and indirectly positively impact youth workers and young men across Europe by:

  • strengthening the competences of at least 60 youth workers through the innovative e-learning platform, e-Studio “Youth Worker – Innovative promoter of young men’s health and wellbeing,” using digitally transformed methods,
  • training an additional 1.000 youth workers outside the official partnership, with the potential to reach 120 youth workers directly through multiplier events and final conference,
  • educating 250 young men through non-formal Educational Weeks “Time4Health: Unlock your full potential in health and wellbeing”, and
  • benefiting 1.000 young men annually through external youth workers

TIME4HEALTH at a glance:

  • 5 NOOCs (Nano Open Online Courses) to enhance skills for youth workers with at least 25 interactive videos in 6 languages.
  • Digital Pedagogies Kit tested with 60 youth workers.
  • Educational Week piloted with 250 young men across partner countries.
  • 5 success stories per partner, related to young men’s health challenges.
  • Set of 3 OERs (Open Educational Resources) in multiple languages, placed on Moodle.
  • 90% of learners will complete their assessments successfully and receive a digital badge.
  • At least 90% of youth workers are expected to improve their skills by 60% compared to their initial level.
