Encouraging young people from vocational schools and universities to actively engage in community life by developing their advocacy skills in a way that reflects and implements the principles of the New European Bauhaus (NEB), while strengthening their trust in EU values.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

  • Engaging youth in European campaigns focusing on sustainability, diversity, and equity.
  • Building trust in democratic and EU values through sustainable and inclusive dialogue with authorities and creating an interdisciplinary communication platform.
  • Strengthening cohesion among European youth communities by promoting transdisciplinary collaboration.

TARGET GROUP

  • Vocational school students
  • Vulnerable youth with a migration background
  • University students
  • EU-level stakeholders: Members of Parliament, NGOs, and EU institutions

Inclusion: Emphasis on diversity, equity, gender balance, and participation of youth with disabilities or from minority groups.

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

  1. Project Coordination
  2. Stakeholder Consultations:
    • National consultations in Romania, Cyprus, Serbia, and the Czech Republic.
    • European-level consultation coordinated by Diesis Network.
  3. Communication and Dissemination
  4. Development of a Methodological Guide (Toolkit):
    • A guide focused on social and environmental community development based on NEB principles and advocacy, including practical examples from various European countries.
  5. Training of Trainers (ToT):
    • A training program in Bucharest covering advocacy, youth engagement, community development, and New European Bauhaus principles, with at least 26 participants.
  6. Creation of Educational Materials:
    • Course materials for social and environmental community development written in accessible language for youth, with practical examples and illustrations.
  7. Youth Training Programs:
    • Educational sessions featuring practical exercises and best practice examples for designing their own advocacy campaigns.
  8. Youth-Led Advocacy Workshops:
    • Workshops aimed at community change driven by youth initiatives.
  9. Youth Cafés:
    • Informal spaces for discussions and idea exchange.
  10. Transnational Youth Conference:
    • A large-scale event focused on engaging youth in community involvement.

EXPECTED RESULTS

  • Engagement of 80 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and 80 entrepreneurs in the agri-food sector.
  • A business development consultancy program for 40 SMEs.
  • Facilitation of financing for 60 SMEs in the agri-food sector.
  • Establishment of 10 new partnerships.
  • Increased level of transnational cooperation among involved enterprises.
  • Identification and dissemination of best practices.
  • Participation of 20 individuals in digital capacity-building activities.
  • Digital and technical services provided to 10 SMEs.
  • Mentoring sessions for 30 entrepreneurs.
